Front End Loading Phase (FEL2 & FEL3) for a possible investment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After final successful investment decision (FID), the rubber plant will be part of the AMIRAL project, a joint venture of Aramco and TOTAL.

​INVESTMENT: 170 MUS$A New Zoster Bulk Facility at the GSK Vaccines Site in Marburg (Germany). Along with the new facility, the overall business case included side projects for infrastructure and site interfaces to integrate the new facility on the GSK vaccine Campus in Marburg.
Volk Consulting signed a contract for preparation and implementation of cost control procedures and cost controlling support. Target was the improvement of cost awareness & savings for all disciplines.

PROJECT: NORD STREAM 2 GAS PIPELINE

The biggest European Oil & Gas project - Gas pipeline running from Russia to Europe across the Baltic Sea.
This new pipeline, similar to Nord Stream 1 which is already in operation since 2012, established a direct link
between Gazprom and the European consumers. Also it ensures a highly reliable supply of Russian gas to Europe.
Volk Consulting signed a 2 year contract for cost controlling at supplier site.

Volk Consulting signed a 3 year contract responsible for cost control & project control during the whole CAPEX project time .
Due to the successful cooperation with the client, the contract was 2 times extended for additional projects (commissioning phase Refinery & two Hydrogen pipeline network projects in Jubail and Yanbu.

European Galileo Project 24 Satellites
EU global navigation system GALILEO was designed to have more advantages compared to the GPS, e.g. accuracy and the independence from US. Time consuming EU negotiations to finance the project and complicated EU approval procedures delayed the overall schedule.
It was the beginning of Volk Consulting service. This first contract as beginner included cost estimation and financial service within EADS
